In our cheerleading classes, we take a comprehensive approach. Exercises are designed to develop physical strength, balance, agility, and flexibility, including stretches.
We study basic acrobatic elements. We work on group stunts and build pyramids. This way, kids learn to work in a team, be disciplined, and focused, because when performing elements, the most important thing is the attention and responsibility of each student.
Often, we conduct the class in a playful manner, allowing every child the chance to try every position, both as a base and a flyer, to better understand where they feel most comfortable.
