Moderno dance
Moderno is a contemporary dance form. In modern dance, the main goal is to convey emotions and meaning to the audience.
The fundamental principles of modern dance include rejecting canons, embodying new themes and plots through original dance and movement techniques.
Moderno can be summarized as focusing not only on body movements,
but also on the sensations that arise during the dance, and on the emotional state.
It is sometimes called a dance for the mind, a philosophical dance. The goal of moderno is harmony in the body, soul, and mind, as well as between these three components.
In our classes, we study dance elements, in the center, on the floor, we analyze hand and foot positions, do partner exercises, work on choreographing pieces, and train imagination and fantasy, encouraging students to bring their own movements and ideas.

TeacherEkaterina Yanina
Ekaterina is a professional contemporary dance and hip-hop performer. Her career started in Moscow, at the Irina Afonina studio theater, and continued in Spain, where she honed her skills. Ekaterina actively participates in significant projects and international competitions, contributing to the development of the dance art through teaching. She was educated at Colegio Internacional Ausias March and Escuela de teatro y cine Off. She worked as a dancer in musicals and on television, and has been teaching contemporary dance and hip-hop since 2018.
